Mr. Ahsan Nisar, CFA

Ahsan has over 16 years of experience in corporate finance covering mainly debt markets. He has diversified experience of managing the projects and structured financing, asset securitization, M&A and capital market transactions across several sectors. Ahsan has joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA as a Director-Loans Syndications in December 2021. Prior to that, Ahsan has worked in Saudi National Bank, Al Rajhi Bank and Samba Capital at different roles within the Corporate Finance field. Ahsan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified in Commercial Credit (CICC) and an MBA (Finance) from Bahria University Pakistan.

Mr. Jawad Kiwan

Jawad Kiwan is the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates NBD Capital, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with effect of August 2022. In this role, he leads the day-to-day business of Investment Banking, Loans & Syndication, Brokerage and Asset Management.

Jawad has 21 years of Corporate Banking experience. Over the course of his career, Jawad worked on tens of billions of deals in many industries. He joined Emirates NBD Group in 2018, as the Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking for KSA where he led the expansion of its client base, drove revenue growth and built a healthy portfolio for sustainable future growth. In this role, he was also in charge of Transaction Banking, Financial Institution and Islamic Banking.

Prior to joining the Emirates NBD, Jawad was the Regional Head of the Corporate Banking for the Saudi Hollandi Bank (ABN AMRO Group) in Riyadh. Additionally, he has held key roles at both Doha Bank in Qatar and Citibank in Jordan.

Jawad’s local network and market knowledge in KSA are key strengths as he now takes leadership of the Emirates NBD Capital, KSA. Jawad earned his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from The Hashemite University in 2001.

Mr. Tariq Linjawi

His experiences cover many skill sets including strategy, investment advisory, banking, sales, finance, human resources, leadership, business setup and transformation management with over 20 years’ experience working in FMCGs, banks and consulting firms.

Ambitious, dedicated Banking, investment and Strategy Professional with diversified work experience. Possessing outstanding abilities in devising successful strategic plans, leading transformations, increasing sales and advising board members and senior executives. A manager and negotiator with a unique global perspective enriched by years of work, stud across various countries. With academic credentials including a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University and an AMP from Wharton.

Mr. Ahmed Al Qassim

Ahmed Al Qassim is the CEO of Emirates NBD Capital Ltd. (Emcap), the investment banking arm of Emirates NBD Group.

Ahmed is responsible for overseeing Emirates NBD’s syndicated loans, structured finance, debt capital markets, equity capital markets and advisory businesses with a mandate to drive the growth of the Group's Investment Banking franchise.

Ahmed has an extensive experience in investment banking and structured finance, working for leading local and international investment companies. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Group, a Dubai Holding entity, and member of the Board of Bank Muscat, Shuaa Capital, EFG-Hermes and Sun Hung Kai. Prior to joining Dubai Group, he spent a year as Director, Investment Banking at EmCap, where he led the Equity Capital Markets and M&A teams. Ahmed has previously held senior roles at General Electric and Mubadala - GE Capital.

He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Victoria in Canada.

Mr. Zeyad Al-Barrak

Zeyad Al-Barrak is an experienced industrialist with an extensive business turnaround, financial, and risk/control management in addition to corporate governance background. Zeyad has 21 years of experience. He has bachelor’s degree in finance & economics from KFUPM, and in 2018, he completed the High-Performance Leadership Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne. He started his career at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and completed a JPMorgan Chase credit risk executive management program. After that he worked in several privately owned and publicly traded companies and headed some of them.

In 2018, Zeyad started his advisory business and successfully completed many advisory projects and established his presence as trusted independent business advisor for industrial projects and turnaround situations. He has great experience in the corporate governance and as a developer of mandates and charters of different committees.

For his accomplishments in his field, he was selected as member of the protection and competitiveness committee in the Saudi Chamber of Commerce representing the private sector. Zeyad also joined number of Board of Directors committees and headed few audit committees and a member of other type of committees, in addition of playing the role of Managing Director in few other companies.

Mr. Mohammad AlBastaki

In May 2021, Mohammad Al Bastaki was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates NBD Capital, the investment banking arm of Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the MENAT region. Mohammad currently is responsible for overseeing the structured finance, capital markets, and advisory businesses with a mandate to drive the growth of the Group's Investment Banking franchise.

Prior to his appointment, Mohammad was the Head of Public Sector – Corporate and Institutional Banking at Emirates NBD where he had leadership and oversight over several key strategic initiatives within the Public Sector space.

He has previously worked with HSBC for 12 years within Commercial Banking, Retail Banking and Global Banking in different strategic roles.

Mohammad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Higher Colleges of Technology Dubai, UAE.

Mr. Naser Yousef Al Marzooqi

Naser Yousef Al Marzooqi has been with Emirates NBD for over 23 years and is currently holding the rank of executive management. He is currently holding the position as Emirates NBD KSA CEO. Naser has for the majority of his career (15 years) worked in Wholesale Banking, specifically focused on Corporate banking and has held various positions culminating in his role as Deputy Head of the bank’s largest exposure group known as “Large Corporates and Global Banking unit”. In his initial days of banking he worked in Retail banking in the Credit card division.

Naser moved to International department in 2015 wherein he works closely as SEVP International’s understudy and has assisted in governing and managing our International units. This has provided Naser with broader leadership skills and developed his international exposure across many aspects, not only in the day to day banking sphere, but also in regulatory, compliance, risk management, strategy and also HR leadership and management in different cultures and environments. In addition Naser also kept oversight of International Corporate Banking business development and growth.

Naser holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio where he majored in Finance (1995) and he has successfully completed intensive development programmes at IE, Barcelona (Senior Leadership Program) in 2013 and INSEAD, Paris (Finance for Executives) in 2017.

Mr. Bazwah Al-Ohaly

She Joined Emirate NBD Capital KSA on Nov 2021 with more than 16 years of experience in the field of compliance and anti-money laundering & terrorist financing in several sectors: (investment, banking and finance), where she worked at Saudi British Bank –SABB (previously Alawwal bank), then HSBC Saudi Arabia, and then Alraedah Finance company. She has a Bachelor's degree from King Saud University, College of Administrative Sciences - Public Administration.

Mr. Iftikhar Rafi

Iftikhar Rafi has over 18 years of investment banking and private equity experience. He has originated and executed transactions in various geographies ranging from UK, Germany, France, US, Singapore / Malaysia, UAE and Saudi Arabia etc. In the last 8 years he has completed in excess of 5 IPOs, 4 rights issues, 3 tier-two capital, 8 Sukus/ bonds and numerous M&A advisory mandates primarily in Saudi Arabia and Middle East.

He has completed private equity transactions in excess of US$ 2 billion in European / US commercial real estate and Middle Eastern, mid- stage and mature businesses. Prior to joining ENBD Capital, Iftikhar Rafi spent 8 years at Calyon Saudi Fransi Capital. Prior to that he was Director of Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank in London, UK, where he spent nearly 8 years. Prior to that he has a senior consultant in E&Y Corporate Finance Group. Iftikhar Rafi holds a Master of Science in Finance / Information Systems (with Honors) from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. He has a Bachelor Science in Economics and Computer Science (Dean’s Honor List) from Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Mr. Luay Jawad Al Motawa

Mr. Luay Al Motawa is a successful and self-motivated executive with a strategic vision to maintain the record of business development. He joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA on March 2020. With more than 23 years of executive/brokerage (local, regional and international markets) / investment/ custody and banking.

Mr. Luay AL Motawa worked on establishing brokerage houses and building up a value propositions institutional brokerage desk in different financial institutions, such as Al jazira bank, Al jazira capital.and Muscat capital. Mr. Luay Al Motawa considered one of the Margin trading founders in KSA. Mr.Luay Al Motawa has MIBA (Master of international Business administration) from West Coast University, San Diego. CA USA. And Mini MBA for bankers from (Harvard business school), and Mr.Luay Al Motawa is a certified trainer (TOT) as well.

Mr. Musaed Zaabar Al-Otaibi

Mr. Musaed holds Bachelor Degree of Business with Finance from Greenwich University, United Kingdom, London during his career he enrolled in several Professional Program at SAMBA Financial Group and HSBC Group as he’s holding as well several courses in the banking and Financial Institution filed and Certified Certification from the Institution of Finance (IOF).

After completing his masters, he joined Alrajhi Capital as an analyst and then became the Head of Equity Research where he covers various sectors such as retail, food, RE, and petrochemicals. After that, he worked as Chief Investment Officer in Naseel Holding where he was in charge of international & regional portfolios multi asset classes including equity, Fixed Income, Private Equity, & Hedge Funds. Mr. Khalid led couple of RE transactions including fund establishments & new developments and was in charge of direct investments where he successfully completed few acquisitions. In addition, he is also an active member of several boards and executive committees.

Mr. Musaed Al Enayek

Mr. Musaed Joined Emirate NBD Capital KSA on Dec 2018. With over 10 years of executive investment experience at Alistithmar Capital, Swicorp, Riyad Capital, and Bakheet Investment Group, all in Saudi Arabia. In addition, Musaed enjoys another 10 years of experience managing start-up companies in the USA, both in IT, real estate and mortgage sectors. Musaed has earned his Master Degree in Business Administration (1999) and Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (1996) from University of the Pacific, California.
